Priorities

1. Connecting students to jobs. As a board member, I will further develop the pipeline between local high schools and Oakton to careers in healthcare and other growing industries.

2. Decrease cost of college. As a board member, I will decrease the cost of college tuition by expanding Oakton course offerings at high schools in the district.

3. Improve graduation rate. As a board member, I will prioritize improving the school’s graduation rate.

4. Grow Oakton's adult learner base. As a board member, I will focus on growing Oakton’s adult learner base to ensure the school maintains high numbers of enrollment in the years ahead
